Michael P. McManus is a Pennsylvania native who now lives in West Monroe, Louisiana. His poems and short stories have appeared in Atlanta Review, Contrary Magazine, The Harrow, Texas Review, Rhino, and Louisiana Literature. He has received an Artist Fellowship Award from the Louisiana Division of the Arts.
