Janet McCann’s most recent poetry book is Looking for Buddha in the Barbed Wire Garden (Avisson, 1996). A 1989 NEA Creative Writing Fellowship winner, she has taught at Texas A & M University since 1969.  Journals that have published her poems include Kansas Quarterly, Parnassus, Nimrod, Sou’western, New York Quarterly, Tendril, Poetry Australia, and McCall’s.
