Richard Gold runs a non-profit writing program for youth who are homeless, in jail, leading difficult lives. He helps them write poetry, publishes their work at Pongo Publishing, and distributes books for free.  A collection of Richard’s own poetry, The Odd Puppet Odyssey, was being published by Black Heron Press in 2003.
