I began by nibbling on my fingernails and gradually munched away an entire arm. With the other, I fed me to myself and as I disappeared, my appetite grew. I worked quickly, feverishly, making use of hacksaw and hammer— anything to get everything. My greedy teeth tore the flesh, I slurped up veins like spaghetti. I sucked the sweet marrow from the bones, ground the bones into a pulpy meal and washed it down with blood. Nothing had become too hard to swallow. Out of appendages, I gorged on the gorgeous torso until only the gnashing wild mouth was left, which soon devoured itself. Now I’m fed and gone. I dream and dream.
