Adam J. Sorkin has published more than twenty books of translation, most recently The Bridge, Marin Sorescu’s deathbed volume of poems, translated with Lidia Vianu (Bloodaxe, 2004).  He is Distinguished Professor of English at Penn State Delaware County.
