M.E. Lee has had poems in The Devil’s Millhopper, The Jewish Spectator, Ogeechee, Sand Hills, Spirit. He’s reported and edited for publications in the South and in Germany, including the Stars and Stripes when he was a young GI. He studied with Donald Justice at Iowa and Florida, and lives near Statesboro, Georgia. 

His poem "Utopia Is No More a Place than Nirvana Is" appears in Square Lake Number Five,
